At Nuvo Italia, we aim to make purchasing home furniture simple, transparent, and affordable. We offer Free Nationwide Delivery across South Africa on our standard ranges, while maintaining fair and clear guidelines regarding returns and collection items.

1. Shipping & Delivery Overview

• Nationwide Free Delivery: We provide Free Shipping across South Africa on all standard products (including Dining, Lounge, Bedroom, Office, and Flat-Packed Furniture Box ranges).
• Delivery Timelines: Orders are dispatched directly from our Durban hub or partner fulfillment centers. Standard delivery typically takes 3 to 7 working days, depending on your location. Main regional hubs (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban) receive faster fulfillment than outlaying or rural areas.
• Tracking & Delivery Support: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive tracking details via email or SMS/WhatsApp so you can follow your shipment directly to your door.

2. Furniture Box & Flat-Packed Items

• Free Shipping: All flat-packed furniture items ship free nationwide.
• Hassle-Free Returns: If you change your mind about a flat-packed Furniture Box item, returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item remains unopened, unassembled, and in its original original packaging.
• Return Shipping: Return shipping fees for standard flat-pack items are fully covered by Nuvo Italia.

3. Return & Refund Policy (Standard Items)

To keep product pricing as low as possible for all South African shoppers while maintaining a fair, transparent process, standard non-flat-pack furniture returns are subject to the following terms:

• No Handling or Restocking Fees: Unlike many retailers who deduct 10% to 15% handling fees, Nuvo Italia charges R0 in handling or restocking penalties on valid returns.
• Return Window: Eligible items must be logged for return within 7 days of delivery.
• Condition: Items must be unused, uncollected/unassembled (where applicable), and returned in their original condition and packaging.
• Return Logistics: Unless an item arrives damaged or defective from manufacturing, the customer is only responsible for the actual courier/transport costs to return the item to our Durban warehouse.

Simple 3-Step Return Procedure

1. Log Your Request: Contact our customer care team via email or WhatsApp within 7 days of receiving your order with your Order Number and photos of the item in its original packaging.
2. Collection / Drop-Off: Our team will either arrange for our courier to collect the item from your address (courier fee quoted upfront) or approve a direct drop-off at our Durban Showroom.
3. Refund Processing: Once the item is inspected and verified at our warehouse, your refund will be processed via direct Bank EFT within 3 to 5 business days.

4. Lounge Suite & Couch Policy (Strict Non-Refundable / No-Return)

Due to heavy logistics freight costs, risk of transit damage, and hygiene considerations, Lounge Suites, Corner Couches, L-Shape Couches, and Custom Upholstered Seating are strictly Non-Refundable and Non-Returnable once delivered in good condition.

Why We Have This Policy: Lounge furniture is a deeply personal household item. To guarantee every customer receives 100% brand-new, clean, and pristine seating—free from pet dander, home scents, or prior use—we do not accept returns or exchanges on lounge suites once received.

• Before Ordering: Please measure your room dimensions, doorways, stairwells, and entrance corridors carefully to ensure the lounge suite will fit into your space.
• Inspection on Delivery: Upon arrival, please inspect your lounge suite before signing the delivery slip. If any transport damage or manufacturing defect is present, note it immediately on the waybill with the delivery driver and contact us within 24 hours.

5. The Bargain Box (Clearance Items)

• No Delivery Available: Items in The Bargain Box are heavily discounted clearance stock, display models, or end-of-line pieces. Delivery is not available for Bargain Box items.
• Store Collection Only: Bargain Box items must be collected directly from our Durban Showroom.
• Final Sale: All Bargain Box purchases are sold "as-is" and are strictly final sale (no returns, exchanges, or refunds). Please inspect these pieces in person at our showroom prior to collection.
